Motion Touch

Today I contacted 'Motion Touch', they are a prototype manufacturing company based in England. They have a manufacturing outsourcing plant in China. I requested a copy of their privacy policy to sign and return to them before I release any drawings. I presume costing may be quite high, but again this is a first time experience for me so I really have no idea what it will cost to prototype my design.

Patent filed & I'm happy to holiday!!!

Yee Haaa!!!!!! Today I got confirmation from the lovely Terry @ Ansons Patent Autoney in Belfast that my patent was filed on the 23rd July 2009. I am a very happy lady today :) I can now begin the process of finding a manufacturer who will prototype my design and so enable me to approach possible prospects ie early learning centre etc. I am going on holidays tmrw for a week and am itching to get home again already and get on the phone, email etc and get the ball rolling :)

Im away now to get my eyebrows waxed and my toe nails painted so I'll write back again soon!!! Happy Holidays xoxoxo

Progress so far...

I signed up to start this blog in March 2008, a few months after the birth of my baby. I never got round to blogging even once! To date, a patent application is being drawn up by Terry @ Anson's patent autorney in Belfast. I have recently completed a 'BOOSTER' course with Invest N.I in their Belfast office in Bedford Street. The course was made up entirely of women, as it was aimed at women entreprenurs. I made many great business contacts and some great new friends as a bonus! The course covered many aspects of business and was sometimes incredibly boring and sometimes incredibly enlightening...

Naomi

Naomi Hazel Bennett, born 30.01.08, weighing 8lb 4oz exactly the same weight as her daddy when he was born, and guess what, she looks just like him :)  Naomi is now 17 months old and is the most wonderful blessing in my life!  I thank god every day for his little blessing :)

Naomi has always been advanced for her age and continues to surprise me every day with her funny little character! Yesterday she was in the car seat we were driving home from Banbridge and I could hear sniffing, I turned round to find she had removed her shoes and was smelling her feet!!! She was laughing away at herself :)
